North Cyprus is a relatively undiscovered region for travelling golfers. Kyrenia, close to the golf still retains its original character with many restaurants and bars by the harbour and hotels spreading east and west of the town with sandy beaches. The surrounding area is now an attractive holiday destination with many sites worth visiting such as Kyrenia Castle, St. Hilarion Castle, Bellapais Abbey and the Old Harbour.
