The north of Belgium is becoming increasingly popular with our travelling golfers as a great alternative to France. The two most popular destinations are Bruges and Ypres.
Bruges is a truly superb city and is famous for its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Our hotels are located within the old city walls and are all within easy reach of the popular main squares which are busy with restaurants and bars for evenings out. There are several good golf courses within easy reach of the city and en-route to and from the channel ports.
Ypres is known to many for its unfortunate part played in the first World War. It is now a charming town, surrounded by museums, memorials and cemeteries. The location is now perfect for a short golfing break a short drive from Calais and with a selection of surprisingly good golf courses nearby. The town itself has plenty to see and do, there are some great restaurants, shops and bars and you must watch the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate which takes place daily at 8.00pm
