Overview
St Jean de Monts is a fantastic 18-hole links-style parkland course located in the beautiful Loire Valley. The course was designed to resemble traditional Scottish links by renowned golf course architect Yves Bureau.
The course has a sandy subsoil that allows the course to be played all year round and is widely regarded to be one of the most beautiful golf links in France. This 6,523-yard course offers plenty of variety and is an excellent test for the technical golfer with its undulating fairways.
The first 9 holes of the course weave their way through forests of pines and green oaks and the remaining 9 holes run right along the ocean coast with spectacular views of the Islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier. The clubhouse boasts a Proshop and a restaurant with large terrace that overlooks the dunes and the ocean and is the perfect place to relax after a tough round.
Location
Two diverse regions, both popular with travelling golfers yet far enough away to travel to avoid the crowds. Brittany has the longest coastline of any region in France and many of the golf courses and hotels that we feature take advantage of the coast, both on the northern and southern shores.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
