Overview
The Domaine de la Bretesche is a high-quality golf resort created in a traditional French style and set in the Brittany countryside. It comprises of a luxury five-star hotel, self-catering cottages and a great golf course.
The cottages, our client’s favourites, are located in either the converted buildings next to the clubhouse or set in a peaceful area in the heart of the forest. The cottages have one or two bedrooms and are fully equipped with a living room with TV, fully-equipped kitchenette and a private terrace. Guests have access to the facilities at the hotel, including: an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, Spa, restaurants, bar and the golf course.
The Relais & Chateaux hotel has 30 rooms, each is spacious and elegantly decorated with the facilities expected of a five-star hotel.
The hotel has two excellent restaurants; the Montaigu, a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant and the Club Brasserie by the golf course. The facilities are excellent and the magnificent 18-hole golf is a joy to play. The whole estate sits in the shadow of the 15th Century Chateau, a stunning former fortress with a fairytale design and numerous ancient turrets overlooking the lake, hotel and golf course.
Location
Two diverse regions, both popular with travelling golfers yet far enough away to travel to avoid the crowds. Brittany has the longest coastline of any region in France and many of the golf courses and hotels that we feature take advantage of the coast, both on the northern and southern shores.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
