The Van Tri Golf Club is conveniently located 30 minutes from Hanoi city centre and was North Vietnam’s first exclusively private golf estate. The Peter Rousseau design presents traditional values and robust approach that is forever exciting and challenging to play; one that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. Van Tri is visually stunning as the right balance of blending colours, textures, heights, and elements of stone, water, sand, grass, and trees to provide an excellent variety that defines every individual hole. Playing to over 7,200 yards from the tips to 6,700 yards from the blue member’s tees Van Tri provides golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf. The course layout on relatively flat terrain presents a challenging variety of well-maintained, predominantly pine-lined holes. Small moguls dot the fairways and highlight the sharp-edged green side bunker complexes. A mix of holes provide for multiple lines of attack, forced carries, good risk reward for long hitters, and at the same time generous fairways and lay-up areas. The golf course shaping and conditioning are without a doubt the best in North Vietnam. Full Pabulum playing surfaces ensure proper fairway lies and top putting conditions.
Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club – 36 holes par 72/72 (7267/7265 yards)

Located 45 kilometers from central Hanoi, Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club is made up of two contrasting 18-hole courses – the Sky Course and the Lake Course. Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club was awarded in 2015 as both the best championship course in Vietnam and the 5th best course in Vietnam. This was the only Hanoi golf club to receive such notoriety. Both courses were designed by Korean architect, Mr. Ahn Moon Hwan of Bori Golf Design. The Lake Course provides members with championship level golf and plays up-and-down through a series of lakes with mountains as backdrops. Most holes are routed over rolling hills. Scenic views overlooking the surrounding farmland can be had from the clubhouse and from many points on the course itself. Fairways and greens are undulated and follow the hilly contours of the area. The course is long and challenging as it plays to 7,265 yards from the tips.
BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, Kings Course – 18 holes par 72 (7310 yards)

BRG Kings Island Golf Resort is a 54 hole golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi. The golf resort lies on the shores of the Dong Mo reservoir 36 kilometers from Hanoi. At only 45 minutes drive from the capital, King’s Island is high quality and convenient choice to include in any North Vietnam golf package. Access to the course is by boat, or car in the case of the Kings Course. The island golf complex situated site comprises 350 hectares of land and 1,500 hectares of waterfront. The Kings Course is the newest 18 at Kings Island. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened for play in 2018 all 18 holes feature a modern resort style layout. Wide fairways with intricate bunker complexes characterize each hole. More open as compared to both the Lakeside and Mountainview Courses, the Kings Course is the best choice for club golfers. That said the 7,310-yard layout is no pushover for the more accomplished players. Accurate shots into the greens are needed to score well. Some of the best holes include the 196 yard fourth and 232-yard seventeenth. Both are par-3’s and play to severely bunkered greens.
