Originally designed by Gary Player, Fancourt’s Montagu course has developed into one of the finest 18-hole parkland layouts, earning it the number 6 position on Golf Digest SA’s list of top golf courses in the country. Exquisitely conditioned to provide a riveting golfing experience, this tree-lined course covers large tracts of varying terrain on rolling land. A detailed stroke saver takes golfers through the course, providing distance measurements and images that assist players with navigating the course. A warm-up area, featuring a full-length range and a chipping and bunker practice area, is available to golfers before play. Golf carts are available for hire, weather permitting.
The Belmont Golf Club – 18 holes par 72 (7000 yards)

The Belmont Golf Club is situated in the Belmont Valley farming community about 7kms outside of Grahamstown. The course boasts 18 beautiful holes of which 12 are on the western side of the Belmont Valley road and 6 on the eastern side of the road. With the Kowie River lined by decade old gigantic Oak trees meandering through the course, and the distant call of a Fish Eagle, The Belmont golf course is fast becoming known as the hidden gem of the Eastern Cape golf world. Built on an old farm, traditional Eastern Cape bush was put to good use. There is a distinct difference between the course on the eastern side of the road which provides some panoramic views over the crop fields & dairy farms towards Grahamstown, and the western side which features the river, upper slopes of the valley and numerous Oak and other trees which provide home to over 100 different bird species including our logo The Crowned Hornbill. The Clubhouse restaurant is a popular hangout for families. There’s a jungle gym for the kids, a practice putting green and driving range. Grab a pizza and beer and enjoy the spectacular sunsets at The Belmont while watching the final players make their way up to the 18th green.
Humewood Golf Club – 18 holes, par 72 (7009 yards)

Found in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth, the golf course is a genuine seaside links, with wide and undulating fairways, fast greens and thick coastal bush. Pinnacle Point Estate – 18 holes par 72 (6321 yards)
Mossel Bay | South Africa
Overlooking the Indian Ocean near Mossel Bay and designed by Peter Matkovich and 2011 Open Champion, Darren Clarke, Pinnacle Point is one of the most unique and scenic golf courses in the world. This Clifftop Fynbos Golf Course inspires the golfer to play this challenging layout with a level of respect due to its dramatic views and breathtaking terrain. The 72 par layout is characterised by 7 majestic holes that line the Indian Ocean rock cliffs, four of which are played over ocean and cliff. All 18 holes have been designed to fit the contours of the land. Golfers have access to a number of world-class facilities, including the Louis Oosthuizen Junior Academy, driving range, putting green, club-fitting and repairs workshop, and excellent pro shop, not to mention a clubhouse with 270-degree sea views. In 2016, Pinnacle Point was named South Africa’s Best Golf Course at the 3rd Annual World Golf Awards and just received it’s 2017 nomination in the same category.
Pearl Valley Golf Club – 18 holes par 72 (7036 yards)

One of the most attractive aspects of the Val de Vie “Super Estate” is its iconic Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. This masterpiece was shaped by the vision of golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his unique touch is evident throughout the course. Officially opened in November 2003 by Nicklaus and South African great, Gary Player, Pearl Valley was named the Best New Golf Course of the year by Golf Digest magazine in 2005. The championship course has been ranked among the top ten courses in South Africa by Golf Digest magazine every year since 2006 up to and including 2015 and named the Best Conditioned Golf Course in the Western Cape for 2010, 2011, 2012/2013 and again for 2014/2015 by Golf Digest magazine. Awarded the Five Star Experience Award by Compleat Golfer for six consecutive years.

Golf at Belmont Golf Course including halfway house and caddie. Check into Shamwari Game Reserve.
Day 4:
Morning game drive, walking game drive and afternoon game drive occupies most of the day whilst in between you enjoy the luxurious surroundings of Shamwari Game Reserve.
Day 5:
Check out of Shamwari Game Reserve. Golf at Humewood Golf Course including halfway house and caddie.
Day 6:
Golf at Pinnacle Point Golf Course including halfway house and caddie.
Day 7:
Golf at Pearl Valley Golf Course including halfway house and caddie. Bid farewell!
So What Happens Next?
Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
