Woodlands Hotel & Resort

The Woodlands Resort is a boutique family owned golf resort which offers a relaxed environment in its own private property. Constructed using Thai architecture, the Pattaya golf resort feels more like a Thai village than a normal hotel. The staff provides personal service and interacts with guests as though they are part of an extended Thai family. The Woodlands Resort is well liked by all; singles, couples, and families. However, as it is a small property and often fully booked, advance reservations are an absolute must!
Khao Kheow Country Club – 27 holes par 72/36 (7077 yards)

The Khao Kheow 27-hole golf course is located in the heart of the Pattaya golf corridor on the way to Bangkok and the Suvanabhumi International Airport. Like so many of the Eastern Seaboard’s courses the Khao Kheow Country Club is set in a valley between 2 hills and strong sea breezes are prevalent most afternoons. The course plays quite long and the elevation changes between holes is a welcome differentiating point compared to the other flatter courses in the surrounding area.
In typical Pete Dye design fashion, careful shot making is required to overcome not only the windy conditions but also to take into account the numerous large ponds, bunkers and hills that surround the well-manicured fairways. Greens are heavily undulating which makes precise putting a key to scoring well. Special emphasis on green maintenance insures year-round good putting conditions, which helps Khao Kheow Country Club stand out from the other Pattaya golf courses
Siam Country Club, Waterside Course – 18 holes par 72 (7407 yards)

Siam Country Club Waterside Course is the third layout from Siam Motors Group in Pattaya. The Waterside Course, designed by IMG, features gently sloping terrain, making it very different from the hillier Siam Country Club Old and Plantation Courses. Spread out over 200 acres the golfer friendly course is of the same championship quality and 5-star experience as its other two big brothers next door.
Environmental waste areas and straightforward designs are the emphasis of most holes at the Waterside Course. Course design is strategic with several lakes and creeks in play. At over 7400 yards the back tees will challenge the best golfers.
Laem Chabang International Country Club – 27 holes par 72/36 (7065 yards)

Laem Chabang Golf Club is a picturesque Jack Nicklaus designed championship course. It is considered the best layout in Pattaya and truly one of Thailand’s finest. Laem Chabang is made up of 27 holes on 700 acres and makes use of 3 types of features which characterize each of the 9 holes. This handiwork is widely hailed by critics for the unique usage of the land’s mixed terrain of mountains, lakes and river valleys which are lovely as well as functional. Each type of terrain corresponds to a 9-hole course in a unique way, and as such each one is named Mountain, Lake and Valley.
The rolling hills of the surrounding countryside have been used to great effect, and hazards to stop you reaching greens are in abundance. Not only does the course have a lot of bunkers, sand traps and water hazards, there are also a lot of natural hazards in the shape of exposed rock formations, lakes, ponds and creeks. Cleverly shaped holes skirt water hazards and tall coconut trees. Every tee is signed with a board describing a distinctive tree or shrub planted nearby to give the course a unique floral emphasis. The large, undulating greens are mostly elevated and protected by wide bunkers.
Siam Country Club, Old Course – 18 holes par 72 (7016 yards)

Siam Country Club is one of the more famous Thailand golf courses, being built more than 35 years ago it was the first privately owned golf course in the country. Over the years the golf course has hosted several international golf tournaments including the annual Honda LPGA Classic from 2010 onwards. As expected the course is impeccably maintained and kept in excellent playing condition year round.

The Siam Country Club Plantation Course is simply an amazing golf course. Home to the 2009 US LGPA and the 2015 Thailand Open, the Pattaya course plays as difficult as any golf course in Thailand. Nothing was spared by designer Lee Schmidt.
