Sicily is the largest of the Italian islands, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and separated from the mainland by the Strait of Messina. Sicily has good flight access from the UK into either Palermo Airport in the west for Verdura or Catania in the east for Donnafugata or Il Picciolo.
