Agadir is the beach resort capital of Morocco. The city itself is modern, being rebuilt after an earthquake in 1960, so doesn’t have as much historic charm as other places in Morocco, yet the climate and coastal location make it a popular destination.
There are plenty of sights worth seeing; from the port to the souk and the medina to the Kasbah. The Kasbah is an old fortress overlooking the town and is visible from miles around acting as a focal point for the city and the souk is renowned as the biggest in North Africa. When you are not on the golf course or soaking up the sun a visit to the city and maybe a guided tour of the city is recommended.
Our clients tend to stay in the hotels on the outskirts of the city, there is a mix or styles and price ranges with all-inclusive hotels proving popular. There are three golf courses to the south of the city; Les Dunes, Golf du Soleil and Ocean Golf. All three have 18 holes are combine to make the area a great choice for a golfing holiday.
