Overview
Winge Golf, situated in the beautiful hilly Hageland, is proud of its long history. Since its opening in 1988, Winge Golf has grown into a one of the top courses in Flanders.
A winding brook bends its way across the domain around the 17th century Winge Castle. The 18 varied holes are perfectly integrated in a landscape of 65 hectares of forest, meadows and ponds. One of Europe’s best golf pros, Pete Townsend was the architect, and put all his knowledge into creating this well-balanced course. Beginners as well as the professionals will enjoy the variety of shots required, as well as the pristine and contrasting landscape. The pleasant and cosy club house located in the castle gives you a superb place to relax after playing.
Winge has collaborated with another of our Belgian favourites, Damme for several years, which has led to many new improvements, with a new clubhouse, designed by prestigious architects and leading training facilities. Winge welcomes visitors to enjoy not just its golf course, but its hospitality and great facilities.
Location
The Brabant-Walloon region in southern Belgium is a relatively undiscovered region for travelling golfers. The capital, Brussels, is the gateway to a region containing many golf courses. Our preferred destination south of Brussels is Waterloo, famous for the battle to defeat Napoleon in 1815. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
