Overview
The good news for most amateurs is that West Sussex is not a long course and the sub-soil is sandy and ideal for playing golf on. The bad news is that there is only one par 5, hole 1, where your swing might not quite be in the right groove to hit the green in two and start off with a welcome birdie. Then there are a number of holes where you will hope to get by unscathed, for example the 6th and 15th, two tough par 3s where you need to carry water, and the 16th, a beautiful par 4 whose green looks depressingly tiny beyond a wide ravine.
Here, you have every opportunity to shoot a good round if your game is in tip-top condition, and although the greens are very well protected there is often an easy way in. You need to play every shot there is, one at a time, firstly in your mind, then with your club. This absolute gem of a course does not have the recognition it deserves, but the people here seen to have opted for the quiet life, preferring to leave the limelight to others.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
