Overview
Verdura is home to two superb 18-hole golf courses set within citrus, orange and olive groves with stunning views of the resort and the sea. The East and West courses were designed by Kyle Phillips who has blended the courses through the natural landscape and maintained the character of the terrain.
The shorter East Course runs around the main hotel complex and has some stunning coastal holes around the turn. The longer West course heads towards the hills and climaxes in a beachside finish towards the stunning clubhouse. Verdura can also be set up as a composite Championship course with a mix of holes from both courses making up the course which has been used for the Sicily Open, a flagship European Tour event.
There is also a Par three pitch and put course for beginners or for a bit of fun before or after taking on the tougher main courses. Whichever course you play you can be guaranteed that the condition will be immaculate, the scenery and views stunning and the food and drink back in the clubhouse are top-class.
Location
Sicily is the largest of the Italian islands, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and separated from the mainland by the Strait of Messina. In recent years Sicily has even become an important destination for golfing holidays with several new golf courses opening on the island and the flagship ‘Sicily Open’. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
