Overview
The two incredible courses at St. Pierre Country Club pose contrasting challenges. The par 72 Old Course was designed by Ken Cotton and opened in 1962. The course was remodelled in 2008 by Ross McMurray who included new tee complexes, reconstructed bunkers and a testing dogleg par 5 on the 7th hole. The course has hosted the Solheim Cup and many other European tournaments – boasting six past Ryder Cup Captains as champions.
This 7,028-yard course is designed around an 11-acre lake lined with century-old trees and a magnificent 400-year old chestnut tree awaits golfers on the second fairway. The Old Course’s signature hole is the 18th, which requires a precision shot 235 yards across the lake’s edge to a raised green. At 5,730 yards, the 18-hole Mathern Course is shorter and tighter than its sister course. This par 68 course was extensively remodelled in 2008 by Ross Mcmurray. It is a truly picturesque course with artful water features and lovely pathways and bridges. Its signature hole is the 14th – a challenging hole which crosses two rivers.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
