The Hunting course, now widely recognised as the Woburn of the North or the Gleneagles of the South, offers a superb test of golf on this demanding layout. The Priestman course offers a good challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Slaley Hall, part of the QHotel group, has two championship courses, The Hunting ranked 4th in Northumberland, measures at 7,000 yards, A Dave Thomas designed par 72 course with lush sweeping fairways, the Hunting course has hosted the PGA Seniors for the past 5 years. The rolling moorland, streams and lakes, towering trees and banks of rhododendrons, give breath taking views, and a tough test of golf. Strategically placed bunkers, and tricky undulating greens, give golfers a great round of challenging golf. The Priestman was designed by Neil Coles, chairman of the PGA, and it opened in 1999. Beautifully maintained the course has matured magnificently and it already hosts European Tour events. Wind can be a factor on this 7000 yard undulating course, criss crossed by stream, this is a classic course and suitable for all levels of golfer. Two fantastic rounds of golf, followed by fantastic accommodation, All bedrooms in the New Hall are elegant, comfortable and full of luxuries for you to indulge yourself in.

So What Happens Next?
Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
