Overview
Sherry Golf Jerez, designed by Stirling & Martin of the Global Golf Company, with its wide fairways and large greens provides a challenge for both amateurs and professionals alike while a choice of tee positions means the golfer may select a course suitable for his own level of play.
Sherry Golf opened in 2004, just 1.5km from Jerez and it has been designed into the local landscape but looks like it has been there for far longer. The wide greens and fairways are typical of an American style course and Sherry Golf will form part of your Spanish golf holiday, combining fine golf with the cities of Jerez or Cadiz. The par 72 course measuring over 7100 yards runs up and down a long sloping landscape and features many beautiful lakes, views over the sherry growing vineyards and plenty of bunkers. One in particular has been created in the shape of a horses head in reference to the world famous performing horses of the region.
Despite being a young course, Sherry Golf has already hosted many professional and amateur tournaments and is proud to have hosted the forthcoming Spanish Mens Amateur Tournament. The greens and fairways are always in immaculate condition, and you are highly unlikely to fall victim to a bad bounce or other such problems commonly found on less well managed courses.
Location
The Costa de la Luz, or the Spanish Algarve as it is also known runs from the Portuguese border to Gibraltar. It is one of the less developed coastal areas in Spain, yet has a wide variety of resorts, towns, hotels and golf courses to cater for all tastes.
Access is via Faro in the west, Jerez and Seville inland and Gibraltar in the south. The region is well spread and is very good value compared to parts of the neighbouring Costa del Sol and Algarve.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
