Overview
Schloss Schönborn is located in the heart of the Austrian wine region on the northeastern side of Vienna and it has an impressive 27 holes and an even more impressive manor house, which is now the clubhouse and the imposing centrepiece of the Schloss Schönborn Golf Club.
The 27 holes are spread out over more than 250 acres and the course is set out in three loops of nine holes, the Red, Green and Yellow. The Red and Green nines make up the premier tournament course but if you are planning a day here we recommend the full 27-hole Kurt Rossknecht experience.
Schloss Schönborn is a heavily wooded course, with thoughtful routing and captivating holes. In many ways the layout is reminiscent of a traditional British park course but there is no doubt that you are in the Viennese heart.
Location
A golf holiday in Vienna is a perfect accompaniment to a Central European golf itinerary or the perfect base for a stand alone holiday. Vienna is a grand stage of palaces, ancient churches, classic architecture, the best art, musical heritage & performances and great food & drinks. With so much happening in the city, golf is not that far behind and rapidly on the rise. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
