Overview
San Roque Golf Club is a 36-hole golf resort comprising of the Old Course and the New Course. Both courses are excellent and are a must-play for anyone holidaying in this region. Note: The New Course is currently closed.
The Old Course provides golfers with a testing challenge. Originally designed by Dave Thomas with Seve Ballesteros redesigned the bunkers a few years after, the design has included the cork trees that are located throughout the course and has tight, rolling fairways. Some holes have lovely views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding mountains. The Old Course is one of the best courses in Spain.
The New Course (currently closed) is set on similar terrain with many great views. The difference between this course and the renowned Old Course is mostly in the course shaping with big deep bunkers and large greens.
The course is very friendly and welcomes visitors as members for the day. There are also so excellent ‘play and stay’ offers at the adjacent San Roque Suites Hotel.

The Costa del Sol has long been synonymous with golf and is known as the Costa del Golf with over 70 golf courses along the Mediterranean coastline between the golden sandy beaches and the mountains behind. The majority of the best golf courses are located between Malaga and Gibraltar – the two main airports serving the Costa del Sol.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
