Overview
In a part residential and part industrial area, this course is a golfing oasis, so well concealed that you easily understand why so many people have never noticed it. It has also undergone a plantation programme that was no more necessary than the committee who took a decision aimed primarily at staking out their own territory.
This your typical self-sufficient course, simply laid out following the natural lie of the land. Architect Alister Mackenzie, here at the height of his powers, used all his skill to vary the difficulties which call for every shot in the book. A little while after, during the Great War, he was to develop a number of camouflage and optical illusion techniques, some of which can already be seen here. He helped by some intriguing topography in the shape of vale and dales, where there was no need to conceal bunkers designed to trap players. Neither too long nor too hard, this is a course for the connoisseur whose only regret will be the less than immaculate green-keeping.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary.
