Overview
The Real Golf Club of San Sebastián is a centenary club, it was inaugurated in Lasarte in 1910.
Under the presidency of Mr. Federico Zappino, in 1968, the RGCSS moved to its current facilities on the slopes of Mount Jaizkibel.
Over the years it has been consolidating itself as the birthplace of great golf players such as Mr. José María Olazabal, Jesus Mari Arruti, Juan Angel Rosillo, Amaia Arruti, Marina Arruti, Tania Elosegui… and great teachers such as Jesus Arruti and Mariano Arruti.
Currently the Real Golf Club of San Sebastián has 18 holes and with a quality of service and superb facilities, it is classified as one of the great Clubs with the most tradition, projection and quality of services in Spain.
Location
The Basque Country coastline along the north coast of Spain is becoming increasingly popular with travelling golfers looking for great golf courses, fantastic gastronomy, a wealth of heritage and some vibrant towns and cities to explore. There are 12 golf courses in the region with Pedrena being one of the highlights – a Harry Colt design made famous when a young Seve Ballesteros won the aged just 17. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
