Overview
The course Real Club de Golf Sotogrande is considered as one of the masterpieces of Robert Trent Jones who chose this course as one of his five favorites from more than 500 courses he designed worldwide. Opened in 1964 Sotogrande was the first course Trent Jones designed in Europe .
The course has a par of 72 and measures 7,000 yards from the back tees. It has wide fairways and well protected, elevated greens. Of over 100 bunkers on the course, 69 are placed around the greens, so bring your ‘A game’
There are a variety of trees; cork oaks, pine trees, palm trees and an abundance of other species, give the course with a wonderful natural beauty. Sotogrande is a fascinating course for players of any level which retains all the natural beauty of the land on which it was built only 150 metres from the Mediterranean.
A round of golf on Real Club de Golf Sotogrande is a real treat. There are plenty of risk and reward holes which often result in difficult par or an easy bogey. The quality of the course is very reflected by the quality of the champions who have visited over the years including Severiano Ballesteros, Jose María Olazabal, Sergio García and or Rory McIlroy.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
