Technically not on Madeira, but on the neighbouring isle Porto Santo, we’ve included this golf course as part of our Madeira offing to illustrate what the ultimate golfing day-trip could look like. Severiano Ballesteros’ brilliant design of Porto Santo Golf Course stretches all the way across the island from dune-rolling beach to dramatic basalt cliffs and is accessible by helicopter or day ferry.
There are hotels on the island if you fancy staying on this exclusive part of Portugal for more than one day, but we recommend staying in Funchal and having a day away from the hustle and bustle and exploring this beautiful spot.
The layout was designed to blend in with the natural landscape seamlessly and immense care was taken to minimise the impact on the environment. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
