Overview
The Slieve Russell Golf Club forms part of a magnificent 300-acre estate, including 50 acres of lakes. The club boasts an 18-hole Championship course that is sensitively wrapped around the lakes and the drumlins of the County Cavan landscape.
This superb parkland course was ranked 1st Overall Best Parkland in the ‘Irish Golfers Guide 2016’ and 4th Top Parkland in 2016 ‘Golf Weekly Magazine’. The course presents a wonderful challenge and the devilishly tricky greens present a searching examination of accurate approach play, which adds to the enjoyment factor. Water plays an intricate part on holes 11, 12, 13 and 16 and the 434-yard 2nd hole is a great driving hole.
The Slieve Russell has hosted some major Irish PGA Tournaments. These include The Irish PGA Championship in 1996 and a PGA Pro-Am, which has been held since 1997 and has now become an annual event and boasts one of the highest prize funds in Europe. The Slieve Russell has also played host to European Tour events – North West of Ireland Open in 2001 & 2002.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
