Overview
The Old Head of Kinsale is situated on the Southwest coast of Ireland on a 220-acre diamond of land, jutting out over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. The course is truly beautiful, occupying 180 acres with the remaining 40 acres consisting of unspoilt cliffs (rising in places to over 300 feet).
This 18-hole course stretches to over 7,200 yards with a minimum of six tees per hole and comprises of five par 5s, five par 3s and eight par4s. All eighteen holes boast spectacular sea views with nine holes playing along the cliff tops. Old Head Golf Links is designed as a walking course where Members and Guests are encouraged to walk the links with a Caddie. With the ever-changing sea breezes, the course provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities.
Location
Killarney is a town on the shores of Lough Leane in southwest Ireland’s County Kerry. It’s a stop on the Ring of Kerry scenic drive, and the start and finishing point of the 200-km Kerry Way walking trail. The town’s 19th-century buildings include St. Mary’s Cathedral. Across the bridge from the cathedral is Killarney National Park. Victorian mansion Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms sits in the park.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
