Overview
Designed by Ake Persson, the 18-hole Niitvalja Golf Course was opened in 1994. This course had a mixture of parkland holes and inland links holes but in 2006 with the help of English golf architect Peter Chamberlain, five new holes were created which turned the whole course into a pure Park-course.
The course now has a number of water hazards and is defined by its testing holes and beautiful ponds. The course’s signature hole is a par 5 which runs the length of a water hazard and finishes with an island green. Niitvalja offers a challenge for golfers of all abilities and requires a precise playing strategy due to its numerous water hazards and its fairways lined by dense forest. The club boasts a range of excellent practice facilities, including a 30-place driving range and a 9-hole natural mini-golf course.
If you happen to visit on a members day, expect to be made part of the family and join the locals for a few drinks before during and after your round. It certainly helps loosen up your swing!
Location

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
