Overview
The Morgado Golf Course at Morgado Golf & Country Club is just a few kilometres from the lively nightspot of Portimao in a large 980 hectare estate alongside the Alamos Golf Course and the luxury accommodation of the same name. With its dipping valleys, river crossings, flora and fauna, small vineyards and farmland, this is truly a paradise where Mother Nature and Man live side-by-side in harmony.
As host to the Open de Portugal, this course has been in the public eye a lot more in recent times which has seen a growth in the number of people staying at the resort. Despite being one of the longest golf courses in the region with five Par 5 holes, nine Par 4s and four Par 3s, distance is not the difficulty with this golf club. With an average green size of 800m2, strategically-placed bunkers and large lakes, strategic play is the name of the game at this true championship course.
The clubhouse is spacious and comfortable and has beautiful views of the course from the large terrace area where you can sample the local delicacies and a glass of local wine too. Also available is an excellent practice area with a driving range, chipping green and putting green – A God-send for golf enthusiasts.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
