If you want to play every Eddie Hackett course in Ireland, you have a lot of golfing to do. With the experience of age, he was very kind here to the average weekenders, who return the compliment and come to play here in droves on 27 holes which offer a variety of challenges. In addition to the actual layout, the wind and wetness of the terrain a seriously dent any hopes of a good card. First time around, several blind shots should require some reconnaissance work, but the course is by no means hilly.
Bunkering is high quality, as is the use of water hazards, especially on the par 3s. Another side to the course’s resistance is the elevation of certain greens, calling for some accurate iron play. Once on the green, the surface is easy to read. A recent course, Malahide has matured admirably and is always good fun in amongst the region’s great links courses.
Location

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
