Overview
La Quinta Golf & Country Club is located in the heart of ‘Golf Valley’ in the hills above Marbella and boasts a 27-hole golf course set out in three loops of nine-holes. Designed by Spanish golf legend Manuel Pinero the course has matured through the decades into a picturesque, yet challenging layout.
The courses are ‘San Pedro’, ‘Ronda’ and ‘Guadaiza’, each offering nine holes with superb views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains surrounding the valley. The courses can be interchanged so there are three different combinations for your round to keep it interesting.
Although not overly long, this is a highly technical course with a lot of thought needed to score well. As you would expect from a Westin Resort, the golf club is equipped with the most up to date facilities including GPS buggies and a digital swing analysis system at the excellent academy.
The clubhouse is excellent, we recommend the lunchtime buffet, and the course is overlooked by a luxury Westin hotel which is highly recommended and gives residents preferential tee-times and green-fees.
Location
The Costa del Sol has long been synonymous with golf and is known as the Costa del Golf with over 70 golf courses along the Mediterranean coastline between the golden sandy beaches and the mountains behind. The majority of the best golf courses are located between Malaga and Gibraltar – the two main airports serving the Costa del Sol.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
