Overview
This course is close to Knaresborough, one of the oldest towns in the country. The superb surrounding in this region are further enhanced by the spa city of Harrogate, the Yorkshire Dales and the ruins of Fountains Abbey with its gardens and fountains. There are several superb courses around here and this is one of them. With neighbouring Pannal, Harrogate is one of Sandy Her’s best layouts and a little advise was also given by Alistair Mackenzie.
Here we are on woody terrain which is hilly enough to conceal one or two difficulties. In other words, the game plan is never simple the first time out and errors of positoning or direction can easily require the use of every club you have available. Although not a terribly long or spectacular course, it is an excellent examination of talent and technique that connoisseurs of the game will appreciate on its merits.

England’s North-East is home to some of the best golf resorts in the country. The golf courses, accommodation and facilities make the North East a superb destination for golf break packages. Established golfing venues like QHotels’ Slaley Hall and QHotels’ Forest Pines have hosted major professional tournaments such as the European Seniors Tour.

If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
