Overview
The first 9 holes were built in 1995, the extension to 18 holes in 2002 completely redesigned by the famous golf architect, the Swiss Peter Harradine. The land now covers 42 hectares. It is a par 70 over a length of 5543 meters.
Bordered to the north by the Rhône and to the east by the Bois de la Borgne, the land runs through fruit trees and is embellished by natural water obstacles. Admirably maintained, the fairways are flexible, the roughs short and the greens frank and fast. The course intelligently alternates tactical and technical difficulties. It allows both experienced players and beginners to set themselves beautiful challenges. Its integration into the landscape makes the golf of Sion not only a sporting course but also a beautiful stroll with spectacular views, like hole no 8 and its breakaway on the summit of Bietschorn. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
