Overview
Opened in 1978 with a fabulous John Harris design, Golf de Poniente is one of the oldest and most respected courses in Mallorca. Just 12 km away from the city of Palma, its wide fairways and large greens make for a great challenge to any level of golfer.
The 18-hole, par 72 course measures 6,430 metres and runs through beautiful rolling hills. Majestic pines, seven lakes and numerous bunkers all combine to make this one of the most enjoyable rounds you will ever play.
The views from the 8th and 11th holes alone are worth a visit and give the player an appreciation for the rugged beauty of this course. Also available is a 300-metre flat driving range that can accommodate up to 100 players. With a large number of members, we recommend you book early for a sociable tee-time.

Mallorca is the only one of the Balearic Islands to have embraced golf with 20 golf courses, a range of excellent accommodation, easy access with plenty of flights to Palma and a great climate.
The golf courses are concentrated in three main areas; there are 13 courses around Palma bay and the South-west of the island, two in the far north and five in the east. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
