Overview
Opened in 1988, Golf de Carcassonne is situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, just 6km south of the medieval town of Carcassonne. It boasts a fabulous 18-hole course designed by famous architect Jean Pierre Basurco that covers 6,040 yards for par 71. This undulating course offers spectacular panoramic views over the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire and has a beautiful, small river that crosses the whole course.
It is a challenging and technical course that has a number of strategically placed water hazards and bunkers and is renowned for the excellent quality of its fairways and the speed of its greens. The clubhouse has a warm and friendly atmosphere with a fantastic restaurant offering a wide array of snacks and meals. Practice facilities at Golf de Carcassonne are great and include a practice area, driving range with 14 tees and practice bunkers.
Location
The South and South-west of France are two contrasting regions bound together by superb golf. The Atlantic coast from Bordeaux to Biarritz is a relatively unspoilt. Famous fort seafood and surfing this coastline has a fantastic choice of top class golf courses and a mix of accommodation from Chateaux in the Dordogne to family run hotels tucked away in the countryside to luxury palace hotels in lively resorts. It is generally quieter and better value than the South of France.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
