Overview
Barbaroux is set high in the Provence hills in some stunning scenery and is full of contoured fairways, large bunkers, sloping greens and trees.
Built in the purest tradition of modern golf architecture by Pete Dye Junior and Senior, every holes on the course combines a respect for nature with technical flair. Barbaroux is located above the French Riviera and the course offers a lot of variation with every hole being different to the next. The course is relatively short, but is particularly difficult and boasts the biggest green in Europe. The fact that it’s so well-designed, however, makes it playable for all levels of golfer.
To score well you will need to use every club in your bag and use them well. Don’t be daunted by the tough reputation of this course, just come and enjoy it, use your handicap and don’t be greedy and you’ll have a great day out.
Location
The South and South-west of France are two contrasting regions bound together by superb golf. The Atlantic coast from Bordeaux to Biarritz is a relatively unspoilt. Famous fort seafood and surfing this coastline has a fantastic choice of top class golf courses and a mix of accommodation from Chateaux in the Dordogne to family run hotels tucked away in the countryside to luxury palace hotels in lively resorts. It is generally quieter and better value than the South of France.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
