Overview
An 18-hole course recognised for its originality, with several extremely raised tees which offer unbeatable views of the Mallorcan coastline. In terms of difficulty, it is a very challenging course for more experienced players.
The course has five blind tee shots and runs over very uneven terrain, with large holes protected by lakes and with the typical flora and fauna of the region. It is built between steep valleys and protected by mountains with the classic pinewoods and stark scenery of a Mediterranean archipelago.
The designer and architect of the course, David Kidd, has managed to optimise the playing terrain. The seven ponds and lakes divided between six holes ensure that the player and the ball do not always make it back to the Clubhouse together. The sixty bunkers filled with white quartz sand will remind more than one player of their childhood. The typical Mallorcan walls – some ancient and some restored – add a special beauty.
The three different tones of green of the grass on the course means that nobody will be able to use the excuse about not having been able to make out the fairway, or rather, the rough. The course is irrigated with recycled water and rainwater collected in tanks. The Andratx Club has its own desalination plant, which shows just how serious they are about protecting the environment.

Mallorca is the only one of the Balearic Islands to have embraced golf with 20 golf courses, a range of excellent accommodation, easy access with plenty of flights to Palma and a great climate.
The golf courses are concentrated in three main areas; there are 13 courses around Palma bay and the South-west of the island, two in the far north and five in the east. Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
