Overview
The 18-hole golf course was designed by the Scotsman John Chilver-Stainer. The entire golf course, especially the greens, were modeled in the style of the classic “links golf courses” of Scotland.
The philosophy of this golf course design is based on a mix of the strategic, penal and heroic schools.
The term links or links course designates a special type of golf course, which is based on the original courses in Great Britain, where golf began. The Links Leuk golf course is the only one of its kind in Switzerland!
The game of golf on left courses is made difficult primarily by strong and unexpectedly changing winds, but the fairways, which are very fast and often wavy due to the hard sandy bottom, also cause the ball to jump uncontrollably.
A Link Curse is also characterized by its deep sand bunker, dense rough and hard and fast greens.
Location
Switzerland is a mountainous Central European country, home to numerous lakes, villages and the high peaks of the Alps. Its cities contain medieval quarters, with landmarks like capital Bern’s Zytglogge clock tower and Lucerne’s wooden chapel bridge. The country is also known for its ski resorts and hiking trails.

If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
