Overview
Golf Barriere de Saint-Julien is owned and run by the Lucien Barriere group. It is home to 27 holes, recently remodelled, and has an American feel with large hazards, wide fairways and undulating greens.
The front nine is an easier test with open fairways and generous greens. The back nine is classic target golf and takes far more thought and precision play to be able to attack the green from tight undulating fairways.
The large clubhouse has excellent views over the golf course. The third nine is a par 33 course and is ideal for beginners, improvers or a quick warm up round before lunch and taking on the main 18 holes.
The golf course is located 15 minutes from Deauville, so has easy access from the coastal towns and also the main autoroute. As part of the Barriere group golf pass, it is best value when staying at one of their three hotels in town.
Location
Golf holidays in Normandy are excellent value. The region has easy access by road from the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais and by ferry to the regions ports at Dieppe, Le Havre and Caen. The coastal areas around Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur and Etretat are the most popular with a variety of good golf courses throughout.
We also recommend that you explore inland near Saint-Saens, Rouen and Nantilly for some super golf courses off the beaten track including Champ de Bataille and the stunning Golf Parc.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
