The much admired course at Fulford has always been famed for its standard of green-keeping. This reputation was enhanced further by the staging here of the English Open and the Benson & Hedges International tournament in the past, not to mention Bernhard Langer’s famous shot from a tree.
Sure, the very low scores carded by the pros suggested that the course might now be a little short for them, but they were largely the result of their holing any number of putts,.The greens have always been fast and true, adding to the pleasure of playing hre, and the course is definitely long enough for most of us. This is a driver course, not power-wise but in terms of accuracy off the tee, as approach shots must be played from the right spot and will vary according to pin positions. A tactical, technical and fair course for all levels, Fulford has retained its dominant position in York, a superb city to visit with a pedestrian only centre.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
