Overview
Golfers who love lush green courses, neatly mowed rough, soft greens and trees which shelter from the wind, and who like to get a tan in the process should avoid all the courses on this side of England. On this coast you play golf with all the clubs in your bag, with your head, your technical know-how, all the inspiration you can muster and with locals who will explain where you should hit the ball and where the greens and pins actually are. Although the course had to be shifted from its original site in 1924 to a slightly more inland location.
Fairhaven is simply a great course, not really outstanding in terms of pure beauty, but honest, absorbing, exciting and very well maintained. There are others that have all these attributes but they don’t have the pureness of style. To play well here, stick to the basics: hit it straight, hard and clean. Otherwise don’t bother too much counting your stokes, take the gimmes or make full use of the stokes you are given.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
