Overview
The 18-hole Boavista course on-site at the Boavista Golf & Spa Resort is located just a short drive from the town of Lagos and the very best beaches of the Algarve. The course is made up of two very distinctive nine-hole loops providing a beautiful variety of interesting holes and stunning views. The course has a variety of tees to ensure there is a strong enough test for the ability of the golfer that is playing.
Almond, palm, fig, olive and pine trees line the undulating fairways that weave their way around this beautiful spot in the Algarve and the carefully placed bunkers and strategically placed water hazards demand accurate play is required throughout the round. The Atlantic Ocean which is visible from the majority of the holes provides the perfect backdrop to a memorable round of golf.
Location
For over 60 years, the Algarve has been synonymous with golf holidays in Europe. Since the Penina Hotel was introduced to the locals of Portimao in 1966, the growth of golf along the Algarve coast has been incessant with many famed courses being built such as Quinta do Lago’s trio of courses, Vilamoura’s handful of top tracks, Pestana’s fantastic four around Alvor and more recently the two signature courses at Amendoeira.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
