Within the immediate vicinity of a wildlife reserve designed to protect white-tailed eagles and just a few miles down the road from the ski resort Aviemore, Boat Garten is a sort of gateway to the Cairnsgorms, with splendid views and some of the highest peaks in the UK. The flora and fauna in this region are well worth the trip anyway, but the local distilleries are also popular with visitors.
The golf course winds its way through gently undulating heathland but is easy to walk, and its overall excellence makes it more than just an added distraction or excuse to admire the spectacular vistas. The rolling fairways often present lies in the manner of seaside golf courses. James Braid’s layout is first class and the 6th hole is one of the most memorable in all of Scottish golf. It’s the perfect holiday course, as the many foreign tourists who have discovered it, almost by accident.

Inverness really has got all the elements for a memorable city break. Discover its flourishing culinary scene, explore the Victorian Market or Eastgate Shopping Centre for a bit of retail therapy, catch one of the many events at Eden Court and other venues, or take your time to admire art exhibitions in the city’s gallery spaces.
Just taking a wander through the handsome city centre is pretty enjoyable too; appreciate Inverness Castle and St Andrew’s Cathedral, then stroll along the banks of the River Ness, crossing the suspension bridge for some peace and relaxation on the Ness Islands. Ah, bliss!

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
