Overview
There are very few golf courses in Germany where a PGA European Tour professional tournament has been held. The Beckenbauer Golf Course in Penning belongs to this exclusive club of courses that meet the high quality standards required.
On the 18-hole course designed by world-class golfer Bernhard Langer, one of the most prestigious professional tournaments in Europe was held in 2015 and 2016 with the Porsche European Open; in 2017, the Beckenbauer Golf Course was the venue for the Paul Lawrie Matchplay, and the European Tour was also three from 2013 to 2015 Years in a row with her Challenge Tour. The best golfers in Europe praised the championship course on all occasions as a demanding test at an international level, which impressed with its technical challenge and the excellent maintenance status.
The 18-hole par 72 course, named after football emperor Franz Beckenbauer, located in the immediate vicinity of the Porsche Golf Course, measures 6,500 meters from the champion tees and is the sporting figurehead of the golf resort. Planned from the outset with the intention of being suitable for large championships, it is considered the most difficult course to play on the golf resort. The 18 lanes, generously distributed over 80 hectares, lead in two varied 9-hole loops through the floodplain landscape of the small river Rott.

If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary.
