A famous Roman and Georgian spa city, Bath is one of those places that tourists just have to inspect – the finest months being May-June, one of the best times to visit England anyway. Very busy at weekends, Bath has several good courses at hand, including this one, near to the interestingly named Sham Castle.
Located on high ground the course is laid out over a former stone quarry whee the soil is pleasant to walk and drains easily. Tips from the locals will help you negotiate a number of blind spots and some sloping fairways, avoid some disconcerting kicks and make allowance for wind that can blow your game away. Their help will only increase your enjoyment on what is a rather forgiving course for hackers and beginners, but where better players will need to keep their wits about them if they want to score as well as they hope to. Hardly a major championship course but one with real personality that is well worth getting to know.

We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
