Overview
Almenara Golf Club is set in the rolling hills of Sotogrande, one of the Costa del Sol’s most exclusive areas. The course was designed by Dave Thomas in three nine-hole loops. The three courses, Los Lagos, Los Pinos and Los Alcornoque complete the 27 holes.
The course has wide fairways winding through breath-taking landscapes consisting of deep bunkers, large lakes and clusters of pine and cork trees. The beauty of this course lies in the fact that golfers can enjoy up to three different 18-hole combinations, all with a par of 72, so gives flexibility and variety.
The golf course is adjacent to a lovely hotel. The resort and golf course are set up in the hills above Sotogrande. There are plenty of other golf courses nearby along with Estepona, Gibraltar and Marbella, all which are within driving distance when you are not on the golf course.
Location
The Costa del Sol has long been synonymous with golf and is known as the Costa del Golf with over 70 golf courses along the Mediterranean coastline between the golden sandy beaches and the mountains behind. The majority of the best golf courses are located between Malaga and Gibraltar – the two main airports serving the Costa del Sol.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
