Overview
Alhama is also known as the ‘Signature Course’ of the six courses that feature in the Nicklaus Trail as the course was designed and signed off in person by Jack Nicklaus.
At 7572 yards, the Par 72 course covers around 96 hectares with a coverage of 45 hectares alone to green areas and other areas are gardens planted with a variety of flora and fauna which is typical of the nearby Sierra de Espuña. 116 bunkers of various shapes and sizes are used with a set designed to look like a bear’s paw print.
Water comes into play on seven holes, none more so than the signature hole Par 3 11th, playing to a near island green. Irrigation from its five lakes keep the paspalum grassed semi-rough, round tees, immaculate fairways and greens in the condition warranted to the signature of the ‘Golden Bear’ himself. A truly great course in the Costa Blanca region.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary.
