The hotel is full of character and has 200 rooms and suites, each elegantly decorated and spacious, The rooms are equipped with all the amenities you would expect of a luxury hotel and have beautiful views of the town of La Baule or the long sandy beach and the sea.
The Hermitage’s seafood restaurant is situated across the road from the hotel on the beach and serves only the freshest cuisine caught straight from the sea. There is also a poolside restaurant serving a wide range of light meals and snacks, and a gastronomic restaurant in the hotel’s stunning summer gardens. Residents can unwind in the relaxed piano bar or in the heated indoor and outdoor seawater swimming pools.
La Baule has a six kilometre stretch of sandy beach and plenty of restaurants, shops, bars and leisure facilities to keep you entertained. La Baule golf club is in the surrounding countryside and has 45 holes, plus there are several other good golf courses which are within driving distance.
Location
Two diverse regions, both popular with travelling golfers yet far enough away to travel to avoid the crowds. Brittany has the longest coastline of any region in France and many of the golf courses and hotels that we feature take advantage of the coast, both on the northern and southern shores.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
