This hotel is one of the finest Chateau-Golf-Resorts in France. Chateau des Vigiers is a stunning 16th century property located in the Dordogne in South-West of France. It is located just 25 minutes from Bergerac Airport and about an hour east of Bordeaux.
The hotel is set in beautiful vineyards and offers guests two unique properties. The “Chateau” has 25 individually decorated rooms and has a beautiful style which reflects its long history. It is full of authentic period furniture, hand-woven tapestries, imposing staircases and intricately carved marble fireplaces.
In contrast, the “Relais” offers 40 spacious and contemporary rooms situated right next to the first-tee and within a few yards of the pro shop and Brasserie restaurant.
The Chateau des Vigiers boasts a luxurious spa, a spectacular 27-hole golf course and two fantastic restaurants, one of which has a Michelin Star. It is highly recommended.

The South and South-west of France are two contrasting regions bound together by superb golf. The Atlantic coast from Bordeaux to Biarritz is a relatively unspoilt. Famous fort seafood and surfing this coastline has a fantastic choice of top class golf courses and a mix of accommodation from Chateaux in the Dordogne to family run hotels tucked away in the countryside to luxury palace hotels in lively resorts. It is generally quieter and better value than the South of France.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
