Overview
This new links course is the seaside outpost of the very exclusive members’ club at Loch Lomond. It lies at the heart of that great stretch of classic links land on the Ayrshire coast centred around Prestwick and Royal Troon. When the Loch Lomond owners bought the site they changed the name from Southern Gailes to Dundonald and it was expected that the course would be just as inaccessible to the public given the chance to sample this spectacular layout created by Kyle Philips, designer of the famous Kingsbarns Links near St Andrews in Fife.
However, only some tee times per day are being allocated to visitors and there is likely to be a steady demand for them. Kyle Phillips has been true to the style of the classic links courses that surround Dundonald and it is hard to imagine that this course is so young and yet so mature. Huge and sometimes severely contoured greens and clever bunkering are the hallmarks of this excellent design.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
