Overview
One of England’s finest inland courses and one that is constantly evolving. Ewen Murray has redesigned the greens to blend in better with the surrounding countryside and they are now to USGA specs and more suitable to handle sometimes hard winters. Temporary greens are a thing of the past and a very effective drainage system makes golf good fun at anytime of the year. This is a steeply sloping course set in a magical corner of Sussex, so a buggy is recommended.
Between the woods and the sections of heather and parkland, find time to admire the landscape and squirrels, they might give you some precious inspiration. Although not a long course, you need a good golfing brain to score well. Some drives have to be long enough to be able to see the green for the approach hot, while tee-shots on the par 3s need careful thought and execution: the 10th hole with its waterfall is a particularly memorable experience and gives its name to the course. The second and much newer “Kingfisher” course is pleasant but less testing.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
