While you are here, don’t forget to play this superb course designed by Colt and Mackenzie, where the river Wharfe threatens your card on the first seven holes.
Flat and laid out in picturesque landscape, every aspect of which comes into view as you progress, Ilkley is a charming course where nothing is easy but where nothing is impossible, either. Just avoid the trees, the fairway bunkers and the traps beside the greens. Nothing could be simpler! The green-side bunkers tend to obstruct the obvious approach route to what are generally excellent putting surfaces. A good score is by no means a certainty here, as there are only two par 5s offering the chance of a birdie, in contrast with several long par 4s, where you can easily waste precious strokes.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
