Overview
This course is virtually in the middle of town, which largely explains why it is practically impossible to play here without being accompanied by a member. Quite simply, this is an excellent course, even considered by some to be one of the three best inland courses in Wales despite the relatively short yardage.
This very well maintained course is a classic example of parkland golfing, where the growing trees have gradually become a crucial factor. A few water hazards and particularly the very cleverly arranged green-side bunkers make the golfer’s job a whole lot more difficult. What’s more, the greens are medium sized only, thus calling for even greater accuracy. In this respect it is interesting to note that modern courses seldom require any more virtuosity than their elders, just a little more power. From the back tees there are some short and some long par 4s, nut virtually nothing between. A good and appealing challenge.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
