Hotel le Tumulus is an environmentally friendly hotel situated on the heights of Carnac, at the foot of Tumulus Saint Michel and is just a 15-minute walk from the ports near Quiberon Bay.
This charming three-star hotel boasts 24 comfortable and cosy guestrooms and suites, including family rooms. The contemporary rooms have an elegant décor with a subtle blend of wood, marble, pastel-coloured fabrics and pebble friezes. Some of the rooms are equipped with private terraces with panoramic views over the Bay of Quiberon and the islands of Morbihan or of the pool and hotel’s gardens.
There are a number of facilities available to residents, including: an outdoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub, and a Spa and Wellness Centre where guests can indulge in a relaxing treatment or unwind in the Jacuzzi, steam room or hammam.
The hotel’s Restaurant du Tumulus has been awarded two Michelin Forks and offers a fantastic fine dining experience in elegant surroundings. Diners can experience spectacular views over the Bay of Quiberon whilst they enjoy a gourmet meal prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The produce is locally sourced where possible and the menu changes frequently with the seasons. The hotel has a superb location with a number of excellent golf courses in the surrounding area, including Golf de Saint Laurent, which is considered to be one of the best courses in the region.
Location
Two diverse regions, both popular with travelling golfers yet far enough away to travel to avoid the crowds. Brittany has the longest coastline of any region in France and many of the golf courses and hotels that we feature take advantage of the coast, both on the northern and southern shores.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
